My daughter recently asked to color the ends of her hair. A friend of hers had used Jello successfully so we decided to requite information technology a try. I researched it online and found a method that combined Jello and conditioner, making it into a paste. We followed the instructions exactly, my girl has very lite blonde hair, and nosotros left it on her hair for over an 60 minutes. When we rinsed information technology out there wasn't fifty-fifty a hit of color! It was a waste of products and time. :(
Notation: Nosotros had success with Kool-aid. Click hither to endeavor information technology!

Hey there! It's clot-o nowadays, huh? When I was in high school, it was kool-ade... And that didn't really work, either. Unless yous have light blonde hair, information technology won't take at all... That ways yous'll have to bleach it first. But all you lot do is add together hot water (not boiling) to the mix, a lot stronger than the parcel says (proportional to the amount of hair yous're dyeing), then soak your pilus in it. I presume you're doing it this style because you want it to be temporary?
Speaking as someone who used to have neon pilus, I suggest using a real dye- Especially since you're just doing the tips. You can always cut them off after you lot're tired of having it brilliant pinkish or whatever color you're aiming for. Merely don't utilise manic panic- it'll dye your neck as soon equally you sweat or become caught in the pelting. Or at least it used to... :) Happy coloring!

be careful- my girl has blonde hair and her dad was away for a few days and i let her put blue jello in her hair. later on at least 10 washings it still had dye in it, but information technology looked like she had gray hair. It was a LONG fourth dimension before she was blonde once more. I recall she was x or so at the time

I first heard almost fying your hair with jello straight from a rave kid, and she did it blue. I just recently tried to do my hair platinum blonde, only since it had cherry-red in it before information technology kinda, failed. So now since my hair is bleached. I effigy I tin can put any colour I want on superlative of it. Then, if you're going to do information technology with jello or kool-aid, make sure you bleach your hair get-go, or have really light pilus.
I'm going to practise a examination with a flake behind my ear and come across how it turns out over the course of a few days. Peradventure if I think I'll mail service again and say how information technology turned out. Doing it bluish, by the style.
